ICU
By Tiki Steve | January 18, 2012
I was in the Intensive Care Unit from January 16th – January 19th. What a great time!
I think they went a little IV crazy on my right arm. They had at least 3 IVs going at a time.

I think they were trying to make an IV sculpture. They did a pretty good job too. Eventually it got way too complicated so they had to tear it down.

But, they promptly started a new one on the other arm. Their first try opposite my elbow failed, so the next attempt was on my left hand.

1/20/2012 Moved to a regular hospital room.
2/7/2012 – My hand still hurts from that IV. I especially liked the twice daily shots in the stomach to prevent blood clots (I guess they’ve never hear of aspirin).
